Rorate Caeli

Upon my little blog post on the Mass of Ember Wednesday, Rorate Caeli, Mr. Joseph Schmidt sent me a comment tipping me off to this youtube video, and I now post the video here. It is a beautiful piece of sacred music, and sung most competently. May it aid your devotion this Advent. And thank you, Mr. Schmidt, for sending this along.

I enjoy reading your posts Deacon, thank you. If you'd like a nice resource to accompany your praying of the Office, 'A New Book of Old Hymns in Latin and English' has been a great blessing to me. (http://www.hermes.net.au/pvb/music/hymnbook/) It's published by a fellow Australian, and has some lovely hymns, such as Rorate Caeli, in a mixture of 4-line and 5-line musical notation. You can enjoy Rorate, et alia, any time you want. A happy Christmas to you!
